A huge channel list is worthless if the one you want takes five minutes to reach. That is why SSTV IPTV arranges live television into groups, the way a well-kept TV guide would: by theme for sport, cinema, children and news, and by country for stations from abroad. Your player shows those groups as folders or tabs, and any you never use can be tucked out of sight.
The main groups
- Sport: national and regional sports networks, event channels that open for big fixtures, and studio shows.
- Movie channels: one film after another, recent and old.
- Series and shows: crime dramas, sitcoms, competitions and chat.
- Children: cartoons, pre-school programming and family films.
- News: 24-hour bulletins, markets and forecasts from several countries.
- Entertainment: music, lifestyle, food, travel and factual channels.
- International: national broadcasters filed by country, for anyone missing the channels they grew up with.
The line-up changes over time as channels launch, close or change hands, so we describe groups rather than promise particular stations. If one channel matters to you above all, ask us before ordering.
Finding a channel in seconds
Three habits make a large line-up feel small:
- Favourites first. Mark the dozen channels you watch every week. Most players let you open straight into that list.
- Search by name. TiviMate, SS IPTV and most other players have a search box; typing three letters is quicker than scrolling.
- Hide what you don’t need. Groups for languages you don’t speak can be hidden, which also speeds up the guide.
The guide and replays
Each channel’s schedule appears in the programme guide, several days ahead. Channels that store past broadcasts also offer catch-up: pick yesterday’s programme in the guide and it plays from the start, handy for a match that kicked off before you got home.
Picture quality
Full HD is the norm, with 4K on a smaller set of channels and events. What reaches your eyes also depends on your device and your connection. A network cable, or 5 GHz Wi-Fi near the router, makes the biggest difference; our Wi-Fi or Ethernet guide explains why.
If a channel stops
Channels occasionally go dark for a short time, usually for maintenance. Before contacting us, switch to another channel and back, then restart the player. If the channel stays off for more than a few minutes, open a ticket with its name, the group it’s in and your device, and we will check it. The stable streaming page describes how we keep interruptions short.
Questions about live TV
Do longer plans unlock more channels?
No. A one-month subscriber sees exactly the same line-up as someone on two years.
Can I watch two channels at once?
On one screen, TiviMate Premium’s multi-view can show several channels side by side, but each one counts as a stream. Watching on several devices together needs more screens, chosen at checkout.
Why do some channels show no listings?
A few channels don’t publish a guide, or publish it under another name. Updating the guide in your player usually helps; if not, tell us which channel it is.
