Living far from home doesn’t have to mean losing the television you grew up with. The international group on SSTV IPTV arranges channels by country, so you can open the folder for your home country and find its familiar stations, from evening news to Saturday entertainment, in their own language.
How the international group is arranged
Channels are grouped country by country, with larger countries often split further into general, news, sport and regional channels. Coverage reaches across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas, though the depth varies from one country to another.
Because broadcasters and rights change, we don’t list every station. If the channels of a particular country are the reason you’re subscribing, ask us before you order and we’ll tell you what is currently available.
Bilingual households
Families who speak two languages at home often keep two favourites lists, one for each language, so everyone can find their programmes quickly. Players such as TiviMate let you switch between favourites groups in a couple of clicks. And because you can add screens, one person can watch a match from home while another watches the local news.
The guide in the right time zone
When you watch channels from another country, listings can appear in that country’s time. Set the time zone or the guide offset in your player so programmes start when the guide says they do. Our article on using the TV guide shows where to find the setting.
Subtitles and audio
Some channels carry several audio tracks or subtitles. Most players let you switch them from the playback menu, when the broadcast provides them.
International channel questions
Are international channels included in every plan?
Yes. The international group is part of the full line-up included in every SSTV IPTV plan.
Can I watch my home country’s channels while abroad?
SSTV IPTV works wherever you have a good internet connection, so you can watch international channels from wherever you live. Channel availability can change over time.
Why do some foreign channels show the wrong programme times?
Their guide may be published in another time zone. Adjust the time zone or guide offset in your player.
