Without a guide, a big line-up is guesswork. SSTV IPTV delivers programme information for its channels, and your player arranges it: a full grid in TiviMate Premium, a simpler list in most smart TV apps. Either way, you can see what’s on now, what comes later tonight and what’s planned for the rest of the week.
The grid view
TiviMate Premium shows channels in rows and hours in columns, like a newspaper TV page that scrolls. Highlight a programme to read its summary; press OK to watch it, set a reminder or record it. Channels with a replay archive carry a symbol, and on those you can scroll back into the past to use catch-up.
The list view
The SS IPTV app and several smart TV players show the guide per channel: the current programme with a progress bar, and the next few programmes below. It’s less of an overview but quick to read.
Four ways to use the guide better
- Search instead of scrolling. Type a team, a series or a presenter’s name and the guide lists where and when they appear.
- Set reminders. TiviMate switches to the right channel when the programme starts.
- Record ahead. On Android TV and Fire OS devices with storage, TiviMate Premium records a programme you’ll miss.
- Filter by favourites. A guide showing only your own channels is far easier to read.

Fixing listings
| What you see | What’s going on | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Programmes shifted by an hour | Time zone or offset setting | Adjust the guide offset in the player |
| A few channels say “no information” | The broadcaster publishes no listings | Normal for some channels |
| An empty guide after setup | Listings haven’t downloaded yet | Update the guide from the player’s settings |
| Yesterday’s schedule | Automatic refresh is off | Set updates to every 12 or 24 hours |
Guide questions
How many days ahead are listed?
Usually several, depending on how far ahead each broadcaster publishes its schedule.
Can I see what was on yesterday?
Yes, on channels with an archive: scroll back and play the programme.
Why do two players show the guide differently?
They use the same data but present it in their own way. TiviMate Premium offers the most complete view.
