SSTV IPTV LLC takes copyright seriously and asks the same of everyone who uses SSTV IPTV. Below is the procedure for reporting material you consider infringing. It follows the notice-and-takedown rules of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA); notices based on other countries’ laws are handled in the same way.
1. Filing a notice
Rights holders, and people authorised to act for them, can write to the copyright contact at the end of this page. A notice is complete when it contains:
- a handwritten or electronic signature of the rights holder or their representative;
- a description of the protected work;
- where we can find the material in question: channel and programme with the date and time, or the web address;
- your full name and contact details: postal address, phone number and email;
- a declaration that you sincerely believe the use you’re reporting isn’t authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a declaration, made under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you own the right or may act for its owner.
2. Our response
Complete notices are examined quickly. Where justified, the material is removed or access to it is blocked, and we let the person concerned know when we reasonably can.
3. If your material was removed
Anyone who believes a removal was a mistake or a misidentification can reply with a counter-notice that includes:
- their handwritten or electronic signature;
- identification of the removed material and the place it appeared before removal;
- a declaration under penalty of perjury that they believe in good faith the removal resulted from a mistake or misidentification;
- their name, address and phone number; their consent to the jurisdiction of the US federal district court for that address or, for addresses outside the US, of any judicial district where we can be found; and their agreement to accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
4. Accounts that infringe again and again
In appropriate circumstances, users who infringe repeatedly lose their account.
5. Misleading notices
Anyone who knowingly makes a false claim in a notice or counter-notice may have to pay damages, including legal costs.
